Reset PTZ settings to factory settings (e.g. presets, patrols)
7.7.9 Smart Tracking
With the Smart Tracking function it is possible to track moving objects.
There are two ways to start tracking objects.
a) The camera automatically recognizes moving objects in the entire visible video area.
However, this type of detection has no options for taking object sizes, object locations
or directions of movement of the objects into account. It is therefore only the right
choice for special applications.
b) The tracking of objects is triggered by certain detectors. A tracking of objects can thus
be started in a more targeted manner. The following detectors can be used to start
tracking:
- Region Entrance Detection (object enters an area)
- Region Exit Detection (region leaves an area)
- Tripwire detection (line crossing with choice of direction)
- Intrusion detection (object enters an area with a certain dwell time)
For option a), the smart tracking function must simply be activated in the menu item PTZ /
Smart Tracking.
For option b) the Smart Tracking function must be activated in the menu item PTZ / Smart
Tracking. The detector and smart tracking are also linked via a rule in the Event Manager,
and is thus linked to the detector.
Activate Smart Tracking: Activate the Smart Tracking function
Duration: Setting the max. Object tracking time (0-300 seconds)
Set zoom ratio: Set the maximum zoom factor during tracking. The faster the object moves,
the lower the max. Zoom factor must be selected, otherwise the object leaves the monitored
viewing area too quickly.
