8. Configuration
8.1 Local configuration
Under the menu item "Local configuration" you can make settings for the live view, file paths of the recording
and snapshots.
Live view parameters
Here you can set the protocol type and the live view performance of the camera.
Protocol
TCP:
Transmission Control Protocol: Transmission protocol with protection against transmission
errors. In the event of transmission errors, packets are resent. However, if the error
frequency is too high, this protocol is negative for real-time transmission.
UDP:
Real-time audio and video transmission without security mechanism
MULTICAST:
Use of the multicast protocol (the network components must support multicast). Further
multicast settings can be found under Configuration / Network.
HTTP:
Control and video data are tunneled via the http port.
Live View Performance
Here you can set the performance for the live view.
Live Indicator (Rules Information)
As soon as this function is activated, a frame around the triggered area is displayed in the live image when
motion detection is used and triggered (if available) (does not apply to VCA functions such as Tripwire and
Intrustion Detection).
Show POS information
When the function is activated, the live image shows the function information of the detected target,
dynamically near the target. The function information of the various
Functions are different. For example, ID and wait time for queue management, height for people counting, etc.
The display of POS information is only for certain camera models
Available.
