6.1 Installation

Close off the gas supply and slowly bleed the line.

Make sure that a 110/115/230V socket is nearby.

Cut the shielding gas hose at a suitable position to which the EWR is to be
fastened.

Connect the cut shielding gas hose to the gas supply line
and the gas
discharge line

Fasten the shunt
to the welding current cable or ground cable.

Connect the shunt connecting cable and secure the plug with the screw.
7
Connect the connecting cable of the power supply (24 V)
and secure
the plug with the screw.
8
Connect the power supply.

Check whether the green
and red control diodes
LED
light up on the flow rate indicator

The following instructions must be adhered to throughout all maintenance,
servicing, assembly, disassembly and repair work:
• Close off the gas supply.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.

• The system must only be installed and put into operation by qualified
personnel (in Germany, see TRBS 1203).
NOTICE
• On the flow rate indicator, only the orange LED in the middle should be
lit. (Factory setting)
• A constant power of 24 V is required. Fluctuations may cause
irregularities.
