is ignited by high-frequency pulses.
4
Pass the torch directly over the workpiece; the cutting arc will develop.
5
The cutting arc is interrupted as soon as contact with the workpiece is lost.
8 Putting out of operation
1
Close the compressed air valve.
2
Switch off the power source.
NOTICE
• The
ABIPLAS
®
CUT
200 W
cutting torch may only be operated by
qualified personnel (in Germany see TRBS 1203).
• Please consult the operating instructions for the welding components,
such as the welding power source and the robot control unit.
• Check the actual gas flow on the measuring instruments or by closing
and opening the corresponding gas outlet openings on the torch.
• All necessary parameters (such as the cutting current, soft start,
compressed air, etc.) must be set on the power source in accordance with
the cutting operation.
• Information and tips on the direct cutting process (technique, procedure,
materials, plasma...) can be found in the relevant technical literature.
NOTICE
• Please observe the required gas post-flow time for cooling the torch.
• When starting the pilot arc, the cutting nozzle must not be in contact with
the workpiece.
• The cutting arc is ignited on the workpiece. The cutting beam is
interrupted as soon as contact to the workpiece is lost.
NOTICE
• When putting the system out of operation, ensure that the procedures for
switching off each of the welding system components are observed.
• To prevent the inadvertent ignition of the pilot arc, make sure that the
trigger guard on the handle is working perfectly.
