The welding torches of the
ABIMIG
®
series are exclusively intended for shiel-
ded arc welding using inert gases (MIG) or active gases (MAG) for industrial
and commercial use by trained operators. They are available as manual and
machine-operated versions.
The welding torches of the
ABIMIG
®
series can be used in any welding
position.
A coolant unit is required for liquid-cooled welding torches.
The operating unit in the handle is suitable for max. 42 V and 0.1 Amps up to
1.0 Amps.
The welding torch should only be operated using original
ABICOR BINZEL
®
spare parts.
The operator must ensure that the welding torch and welding device
comply with the EC Directive EMC (89/336/EEC).
The
ABIMIG
®
welding torch is exclusively intended for the application descri-
bed above. Any use beyond that is prohibited.
Proper use also requires adherence to the operation, servicing and maintenance
conditions as set by the manufacturer.
The warranty does not cover consumables or damage due to overloading or
improper handling.
Unauthorized conversions and modifications are prohibited for reasons of
safety and liability.
The tasks described in these operating instructions are explained in a way,
which can only be performed by qualified personnel.
According to the definitions found in EN-60204-1:
Qualified personnel are persons who, based on their special training,
knowledge, experience and due to their knowledge of the relevant standards,
are able to assess the tasks assigned to them and identify possible dangers.

up to 90 % at a temperature of 20 °C
