Disconnect water supply from solenoid.
Then place your hand under the spout tip to
confirm the current distance. Solenoid will
make an audible click noise to notify you of
sensor activation.

Place a magnet* in front of the sensor window
until the sensor starts flashing.
*A fridge magnet may be convenient.
While the sensor is flashing, place your hand under
the spout at the preferred distance of activation and
wait until the flashing stops. If there is nothing in
front of the sensor while it is flashing, then the sensor
will keep the original distance.
