7. Allow a small amount of solder to flow into the joint.
8. To ensure a strong joint, do not touch or move the joint until it has cooled completely.
Note:
The tip assembly can be turned to any desired angle by turning black Knurled Nut.
Use pliers to adjust to avoid touching tip.
• Replace the tip
1. Ensure switch is in the OFF position. Allow tip to cool completely before replacing tip
2. Use only K 3782/4 replacement tips
3. Do not file tip
4. Always tin tip after every use to avoid oxidation
- Unscrew old tip by rotating the locking nut counterclockwise
- Screw in new tip by rotating the locking nut clockwise
• Recharge
1. Connect the Micro USB connector to the Micro USB port
2. Connect the USB connector to a computer USB port or USB wall charger
3. Charge battery for at least 3.5 hours before use
4. The LED indicator light will turn to green when fully charged
