Removing and Re-positioning the Attach
Prostheses:
• To remove the Attach prosthesis, gently
loosen the prosthesis from the bottom
upwards.
• To re-position the Attach prosthesis, re-
move it as described above and reattach it
(as seen in the example on page 2).
• Please avoid touching the adhesive
surface of the Attach prostheses. This may
impair the adhesive surface of the Attach
prosthesis.
How to use the textile covers:
• The Attach breast prosthesis can be worn
as a non-adhesive breast prosthesis in the
bra pocket, by placing the enclosed textile
cover on the adhesive surface.
• Please make sure to place the plastic side
on the adhesive surface.
5. Cleaning Instructions
• Daily cleaning of the adhesive surface is
essential to maintaining a long-lasting ad-
hesive strength of your Attach prosthesis.
• Ask your medical device retailer for ABC
Cleanser for easy and thor ough cleaning.
Alternatively, you can use a mild, non-
moisturizing liquid soap.
How to clean the Attach breast prosthesis:
• Gently rub the cleanser or soap with your
fingers circularly for 2-3 minutes over the
entire adhesive surface.
• Thoroughly rinse the Attach prosthesis with
lukewarm water to completely remove soap
or cleanser residue.
• To dry: place your Attach prosthesis - with
the adhesive side upwards - in the ABC
travel case to allow the prosthesis to air dry
(as seen in the example on page 3). Please
do not dry the prosthesis with a towel. This
avoids a build-up of lint on the adhesive
surface, which may impair the adhesive
surface of the Attach prosthesis.
• Should the adhesive have an excessive
amount of residue, lint or dander covering
the surface, we recommend using a soft
brush in addition to the cleanser when
cleaning the breast prostheses.
How to clean the textile covers:
• Hand wash with mild soap, rinse in luke-
warm water and let air dry.
6. Warranty
• When worn under normal conditions and
in compliance with the instructions for
use, we guarantee a product service life of
2 years.
• Should your breast prosthesis become de-
fective, please contact your medical device
retailer. In the event of a production or
material defect, ABC will replace the breast
prosthesis should the defect happen within
two (2) years from the date of purchase.
