NOTICE

The total weight of the complete compressor casing is an addition of
the weights of the compressor casing, the diffuser and the wall insert.

8.3 Removing and installing the air suction

branch / filter silencer

Removing the air suction
branch

Disconnect all pipes / ducts in accordance with the enginebuilder's in-
structions.

Loop lifting gear around air suction branch. Lifting gear may be
passed through any holes provided in ribs to improve stability.

Unscrew nuts (72027) and remove them together with washers
(72018).

Remove air suction branch and set it down to one side.

Installing the air suction
branch

The installation of the air suction branch is carried out in reverse or-
der.
