Designation
Options:
Text (30 characters)
The input field is used to name an object so that it can be uniquely identified
at a later date.
After downloading the parameters into the TG/S using ETS, the designations
are also adopted in the configuration pages of the TG/S (see 5.3.2). The data
that is configured in ETS can thus be further processed and supplemented
e.g. by message text.

using Blocking Object 5
using Blocking Object 6
The object blocking function is used to stop messages from being sent in
specific situations. It can for example prevent a fault from being reported
externally when someone is present. The TG/S has 6 fixed blocking objects
for different applications. It can be defined for each object which blocking
object it should react to.
Communication objects 0-20
The communication objects ‘Fault 230 V AC’ and ‘Fault 12 V DC’ send an ON
telegram as soon as a fault occurs in the mains voltage (230 V AC) or auxili-
ary voltage (12 V DC).
If the TG/S detects a fault with the connection to the telephone network, an
ON telegram is sent to the object ‘Fault Phone Line’.
