Before using Defeat Interlock.
1. Ensure the Switch-Disconnector/Disconnector of
respective module is in Earth position
2. Ensure cable door is opened condition
3. Engage the defat Interlock
with Interlock Pin

4. Follow the arrow
i) Engage defeat interlock with Pin.
ii) Pull down the Defeat interlock (10-12mm).
iii) Engage the defeat interlock with flange.
To remove Defeat Interlock follow the arrow in reverse
direction.
Ensure the Switch-Disconnector/Disconnector of respective
module is in Earth position.
iii) Dis-engage the defeat interlock from flange

ii) Lift the Defeat interlock (10-12mm)
i) Pullout defeat interlock from Pin
i
Once all the work is done refix the cable door
(For more details refer chapter 8.1.1 & 8.1.2)
DANGER !
Defeat interlock will allow the operation from Earth to Off
Or Off to Earth operation only when defeat interlock is
inserted fully.
Do not try or operate disconnector/switch disconnector
forcefully to ON position, by using Defeat Interlock.
