This document contains the description of the REB500 Configurator Tool (HMI500 started under
Configurator Mode) and the setfile engineering process. In addition to the theoretical part, the
Engineering Manual provides an application example (see

Intended audience

The engineering manual addresses system and project engineers involved in the engineering
process of a project, and installation and commissioning personnel, who change configuration
data during engineering, installation and commissioning.
In the Configurator mode, a system configuration can be modified. This mode
should be used by selected (trained) users only.
