Editing the network settings

Before starting the PCM600 program, edit the network settings of the computer
system. The computer system and the IED should be configured to communicate
correctly because both will be available on the same network. This is possible
when the IED and the computer system have the same Subnet Mask but different
IP addresses.

addresses can also be used.
Subnet Mask for both:
255.255.255.0

Based on the version of the Windows operating system, follow the instructions to
edit network settings.
The PCM600 software version 2.8 or later is used to connect to the
IED that supports Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10.
