Installation instructions and operation
1.- Introduction.
The optic and acoustic alarm is a device able to alert of an incidence to the user inside the house
where it is installed.
2.- Technical features of the product.
1. Supply voltage:
12 Vdc 180mA (or 24Vdc).
2 .Acoustic signal:
85 dB of sound intensity at 3 m.
3. Power of the lamp:
1.2W
Flash lighting frequency:
≤ 2 sec.
Lamp’s lasting life:
>30.000 flashes
4. Operation temperature:
-10ºC to 50ºC
Humidity:
up to 90% HR (without condensation nor freeze)
3.- Installation.
The installation sequence of the product is as follows:
1- Fix the base to the wall by rawlplugs.
2.- Connect the alarm according to the connection scheme indicated in “Chapter 4.- Connection”.
3.- Assemble the alarm to the base of the wall with the help of the fixing anchors that you have.

5.- GUARANTEE
All devices manufactured or distributed by Asea Brown Boveri S. A. Fábrica Niessen are made
according to the most modern technology.
The NIESSEN factory guarantees its articles within the supply general terms, provided that it is a
manufacturing defect. In this case, please send the defective equipment to the distributor where it was
acquired, accompanied by the certificate of guarantee.
Coverage
The present guarantee applies to those articles with a manufacturing defect. Therefore, it will not be
applied to articles presenting damage as a result of not following correctly the assembly instructions or
when the installation has been completed by non specialized personnel.
Also are excluded damages caused by device misuse and breakdowns produced in the transport.
Validity
The duration of this guarantee is 24 months, to be count from the date of acquisition of the device.
