operation and maintenance of this equipment.
After installing the equipment, file these
instructions with other instruction books,
drawings and descriptive data for this equipment.
Using these instructions will facilitate proper
equipment maintenance and prolong its useful life.
Install the MCC within the design limitations
described in this manual. This equipment is
designed to operate within the current and voltage
limitations on the main nameplate. Do not use or
install this equipment in applications or systems
using current and/or voltages that exceed its
limits.
Follow your company’s safety procedures.
Do not remove covers, open doors or work on
equipment unless power has been turned off and
all circuits de-energized. All components should be
electrically disconnected by means of a visible
break, securely grounded and locked out, and
tagged in accordance with precautions stated in
ANSI Standard Z244.1 “Control of Hazardous
Energy – Lockout/Tagout and Alternative Methods”
and ISO Standards.
Personnel performing installation, operation or
maintenance work on the equipment should wear
the appropriate personal protective equipment.
Personnel installing, operating or maintaining this
equipment must have thorough knowledge of all
applicable local, regional, industry, governmental,
ISO and OSHA safety procedures. They must also
follow commonly accepted safe working practices
based on the potential hazards involved. Personnel
working in or around this equipment must use
common sense and good judgment regarding the
potential hazards to themselves and other
personnel in the area.
