Taking out of operation for over 12
months
Turbochargers which are to be shut down and stored for
more than 12 months must be mothballed as follows:
Note Order parts and packing for mothballing
separately.
- Drain the oil on the compressor and turbine ends (see
chap. 3).
- Remove the bearings (see chap. 5).
- Immerse bearings in corrosion protection oil ANTI-
CORIT 3.
Film type:
colourless, oily film, non-resinous
non-drying
- Wrap the bearings and the bearing mounting parts
separately in paraffin paper and store them in the tins
provided for this purpose.
- Send the bearings for an overhaul to one of our service
stations (see chap. 8).
- Apply vaseline at a temperature of 80°C (353 K) to
the bearing parts at the shaft ends.
- Fit the CE fixing flange (95010) onto the compressor
end with the hex.-headed screws (95013)
(see fig. 6-5).
- Fit the TE fixing flange (95050) onto the turbine end
with the hex.-headed screws (95051)
(see fig. 6-6).
- Effect axial tensioning of the rotor with the tension
washer and cap nut (32157) or the ring nut (32151) on
the compressor end
(see fig. 6-5).
- Fit the bearing space covers on the TE and CE
- Fix the inscription plates supplied for the TE (95052)
and the CE (95014) on the bearing cover
(see figs. 6-5
and 6-6).
- Spray or brush TECTYL 502 onto the casing con-
necting flanges.
2.2
Ausserbetriebnehmen über 12 Monate
Turbolader, die über 12 Monate stillgelegt und gelagert
werden, sind in folgender Weise zu konservieren:
Hinweis Einbauteile und Verpackungen für die
Konservierung extra bestellen
- Öl auf Verdichter- und Turbinenseite ablassen (s. Kap. 3).
- Lager ausbauen (s. Kap. 5).
- Lager in Korrosionsschutzöl ANTICORIT 3 tauchen.
Filmtyp: farbloser, öliger Film, nicht harzend und
nicht austrocknend
- Lager und Lagereinbauteile getrennt in Paraffinpapier
einwickeln und in Dosen aufbewahren.
- Lager zum Überholen an die Service-Stelle schicken
(s. Kap. 8).
- Die Lagerpartien an den Wellenenden mit 80
o
C (353 K)
heisser Vaseline bestreichen.
- Halteflansch VS (95010) mit 6kt-Schrauben (95013)
auf die Verdichterseite montieren
(s. Fig. 6-5).
- Halteflansch TS (95050) mit 6kt-Schrauben (95051)
auf die Turbinenseite montieren
(s. Fig. 6-6).
- Rotor mit Spannscheibe und Hutmutter (32157) bzw.
Ringmutter (32151) auf der Verdichterseite axial ver-
spannen
(s. Fig. 6-5).
- Lagerraumdeckel TS und VS montieren
- Mitgelieferte Aufschriftschilder für TS (95052) bzw.
für VS (95014) am Lagerdeckel befestigen
(s. Fig. 6-5
und 6-6).
- Gehäuseanschlussflansche mit TECTYL 502 spritzen
oder streichen.
