Remove insulation at the flange of the filter silencer (81000) (if present).
Unscrew lock (81126).
Measure volume of water according to the following table.
Fill this water into a clean can (A).
Carefully pour this water into the filling orifice (B) with the can.
Screw in lock and hand-tighten.
Fit insulation on the flange of the filter silencer (if present).
After cleaning, allow the engine to continue to run for at least 5 minutes under normal load.
Repeating the cleaning
If the cleaning is still unsuccessful after three processes, it is recommended to have the turbo-
charger checked and cleaned by an ABB Turbocharging Service Station if the engine values
are unsatisfactory.
