Type designation label
The type designation stated on the label contains information on the specifications
and configuration of the drive. When contacting technical support on the drive, quote
the complete type designation and serial number.
See the example label below.

1 Type designation.
• First digits from left (eg. ACL30-04-017A-4) – express the basic configuration
• Optional selections (eg. +L501) – preceded by + signs
2 Frame size
3 Cooling method
4 Degree of protection
5 UL data
6 Ratings. See Drive specifications on page 319 .
7 CE marking
8 Serial number.
• First digit – refers to the manufacturing plant.
• Next four digits – refer to the unit’s manufacturing year and week, respectively.
• Remaining digits – complete the serial number so that there are no two units with
the same number.
