The exposed liner material on the meter flange faces is susceptible to damage if mishandled.  Do
not walk the meter on its ends.  Always use the protective end covers when the meter is trans-
ported.

CAUTION

Never allow any support for the Magnetic Flowmeter to bear upon the

inner surface of the meter pipe section inasmuch as the liner may

become damaged.  Do not lift the meter by the electrode bosses.

The protective wooden flange covers or paper guard caps must be removed for inspection and be-
fore mounting in the pipeline.
