When your system is first commissioned, the user PIN is “0000”. Code-number proce-
dures requiring a PIN should be unavailable to other users.
For this reason, you should change the PIN when you start operating your telephone,
and put the new number in a safe place. The user PIN can be up to six characters long.
Please note:
Make sure you do not lose your new PIN. Contact your system
administrator if you experience any problems.
You
cannot
change your user PIN on a SIP terminal with the code-number procedure
described here. You can do so, however, in the
Configurator
of the OpenCom 100 /
Aastra 800. To do so, the system administrator has to authorise you to change your
personal information. For more information, please refer to the online help of the
OpenCom 100 / Aastra 800.
Intercept
The call numbers of malicious callers can be stored in your network operator’s
exchange (if this service has been implemented). This function works even if the caller
has already hung up!
Note
The feature can only be activated on ISDN telephones.
