Among the programs and components supplied for Windows XP/Professional, the
only thing that may interfere with the functioning of the Aastra 800 communica-
tions system is the “Internet information services” – if installed, of course. Change
the predefined port numbers or deinstall the “Internet information services” com-
ponents using the following steps. To do so, you must be logged on as a user with
administrator rights.
1. Select Software category in the Windows control panel.
2. Click on the Add/Remove Windows Components menu button.
Control Panel: Add or Remove Programs: Deinstall IIS
3. Deactivate the Internet Information Services (IIS) list option in the Compo-
nents list.
