When the pilot has been lit, the remote transmitter can be used to control the flame height or to
turn the main burner on or off.
Aim the remote transmitter at the control valve and press the top button „X‟ to increase the
input or the bottom button „Y‟ to decrease the input. Short tapping of either button, allows
incremental changes in the flame height.
NOTE:
The pilot must be lit manually before the function of the remote control is operational.
NOTE:
In the event of battery failure, the flame height can still be adjusted manually upon the
stove, please see pages 36 and 37.
Caution :
It is recommended to turn the combination control either to the off or pilot position if the
appliance is left unattended for long periods (eg: vacation) so that it cannot receive commands
from the remote transmitter. Exercise caution when leaving the appliance unattended, and in
exceptional cases, sound waves from sources other than the transmitter can cause changes in
the flame height adjustment.
