F6 – Average Piece Weight (APW) adjustment
If many denominations count high/low, you should re-calibrate the MC-2000 (F1),
instead of adjusting individual average piece weights. Factory settings for denomi-
nations are as follows. It is extremely unlikely that you will ever need to make any
alterations. (see F10 for easiest adjustment of bill count accuracy.)

ROLLS key to scroll through coins (C1, C5, C10, C25, C100), bills (b1, b5, b10, b20, b50,
b100), coin rolls (r1, r5, r10, r25, r100).
Once you have selected the proper currency, press

. The current average piece
weight (in grams) will be displayed. Press
BILLS
to increase APW, press
TOTAL
to de-
crease APW. Press

to move left, press

Example
of an easy method to fine tune your average piece weight: Hand count & place 100
each $1 bills on the scale in the gram mode, weigh the 100 bills (example 98.8 grams total
weight), divide total weight by 100 (example .9880 grams). Access F6, trim the b1 setting to
0.9880. Now recheck money count accuracy.
