Remove the filter (4) out of the rubber socket (2).

Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filter.
5.
Replace the filter in the rubber socket.
6.
Install the air supply pipe back onto the water heater.
7.
Place the secure pin.
Caution
The filter must be placed back into the rubber socket at all times. When the filter is not
placed in the rubber socket it can cause the water heater to malfunction.
Note
Make sure that the gas supply pressure is correct, refer to gas supply pressure 8.9.3.

Finalization
When all maintenance activities are done, place the cover back on the water heater:
1.
Place the cover on the water heater.
2.
Use a screw driver to tighten the screws at the front of the cover.
After that:
1.
Fill the water heater (see 8.9.1).
2.
Make sure the air pressure differential is correct, refer to Air pressure differential.
3.
Make sure the gas supply pressure is correct, refer to Gas supply pressure.
4.
Make sure the CO2 value is correct, refer to CO
value (see 8.9.4).
5.
Turn on the water heater (see 4.1).
