CONNECTION USING HDMI CABLE
To setup the headset for HD video you will also need
to use the PS3® system A/V cable and an HDMI cable
together. The connection method is identical to the
standard setup above, but you replace the composite
video (yellow RCA plug) with the HDMI connection.
1. Insert the headset’s USB™ cable into a free USB™
connector on your PS3® system
2. Connect the headsets red & white audio cable into the
red & white connections on the PS3® system A/V cable,
the yellow connection is not used
3. The PS3® system A/V cable does not need to be
connected to your TV
4. Connect your HDMI cable to your PS3® system and TV
Note: You will need to change the PS3® system video
output to HDMI in the Settings menu. “Settings” > “Display
Settings” > “Video Output Settings” > “HDMI”

• Ensure that the PS3® system is turned off before
connecting the headset to your PS3® system and TV
• Before wearing the headset, set the volume control to
its minimum level then slowly increase until you reach
your desired volume level
• Listening to your headset at its maximum level may
cause damage to both the headset and your ears
• Long term exposure to loud music or other sounds
in a headset may cause hearing damage. It is best to
avoid very high volume levels when using a headset,
especially for extended periods
• Never expose to direct sunlight or wet weather
conditions
• Do not expose the unit to splashing, dripping, rain or
moisture. Do not immerse in liquid
• Do not expose to dust, high humidity, high temperatures
or mechanical shock
• Avoid any unnecessary strain of the audio cable

CONNECTION USING STANDARD AV CABLE
1. Insert the headset’s USB™ cable into a free USB™
connector on your PS3® system
2. Connect the red & white audio cable into the
audio input on your TV and connect your PS3® system
audio connections into the audio cable
3. Connect the yellow PS3® system connection into the
video input on your TV
