For installing the brace,
please start by inserting
the hook into the nail fold,
turn the hook under the
nail edge and then press
the pad with the fixation
pliers
onto the nail.
Slightly pull the pliers to
avoid the hook to jump off.
> If the tension is too
strong, the wire may be
pulled out of the pad
thereby
destroying the
brace
Check brace tension and optimse
Do not bend the wire of the COMBIped

brace, leave it straight first.
Please agree the level of tension with your patient.
> Your patient should not feel any unpleasant tension!
RIGHT ANGLE
Only this way can the
hook be turned under
the nail fold properly
WRONG ANGLE
The hook cannot be
turned under the nail edge
and will cause injury of
the nail fold
