12. After each range has been calibrated, the ABC's pump continues to operate for approximately
60 seconds. This draws air via the 'AIR' inlet to purge the ABC and monitor of gas. The gas values
on the monitor's display will reduce to zero.
13. The monitor initiates a countdown sequence and switches OFF.
14. A ‘PASS’ is indicated by a green LED, as illustrated in

16. The monitor can now be safely removed.
17. The ABC displays the PASS or FAIL indication until the front cover is opened.
18. Open the front cover by depressing the cover latch (as illustrated in
).
Open the cover fully.
Lift Monitor Clear of Gas Nozzle
, grasp the monitor, lean the top of
monitor away from the ABC station, then carefully dis-engage from the ABC's gas supply nozzle.
NOTE: If the monitor fails, verify that the correct gas cylinders are being used and that the
cylinders are not empty.
CAUTION: Do not overextend angle of extraction as damage to the nozzle could result.
