WARNING – TURN OFF ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY AND DISCONNECT POWER CORD FROM
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY BEFORE BEGINNING MAINTENANCE. IF POWER CORD IS NOT
DISCONNECTED, SEVER INJURY TO PERSONNEL COULD RESULT. USE CARE WHEN REPLACING
BLADES AS BLADES ARE EXTREMELY SHARP. IF CARE IS NOT TAKEN, SEVERE INJURY TO
PERSONNEL COULD RESULT.
Blade Replacement
Refer to Figure 6-1
1.
Loosen, but do not remove the blade screws (A). Remove and discard the old blade.
2.
Mount the new blade (B) with the bevel side away from the blade holder.
3.
Bottom the new blade slots against the screws. This will position the blade at the correct angle and depth.
Tighten to secure the blade screws.
NOTICE
1.
Check the blade position to insure proper clearance by slowly pivoting the blade guard back.
2.
If tape does not cut or has ragged cut re-adjust blade position away from blade holder.
The same steps are followed on the upper and lower taping heads. Connect the main power supply.
