IP Address of the
Alternate Server
Suboption 2 of option 184 defines the IP address of the VCX Alternate
Server. For each element in
Table 4 , repeat steps 4 a, b, and c, listed at the
beginning of this topic. As you add each element, it appears in the
Current values list, above previously added values.
Add these elements in this order:
Voice VLAN

Suboption 3 of option 184 defines the Voice VLAN configuration for the
VCX system. For each element in
Table 5 , repeat steps 4 a, b, and c, listed
at the beginning of this topic. As you add each element, it appears in the
Current values list, above previously added values.

option 184, suboption 2, the argument is an IP address, which is
composed of four numerical fields (octets).
NOTE: The next four fields use 10.234.1.253 as an example IP address of the VCX
alternate server. Enter the IP address of your alternate.
