Fax Branding
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of
1991 makes it unlawful for any person to
use a computer or other electronic device,
including fax machines, to send any
message unless such message clearly
contains in a margin at the top or bottom of
each transmitted page or on the first page of
the transmission, the date and time it is
sent, an identification of the business or
other entity, or other individual sending the
message, and the telephone number of the
sending machine or of such business, other
entity, or individual.
(The telephone number provided may not
be a 900 number or any other umber for
which charges exceed local or long-distance
transmission charges.)
Radio and Television Interference
This equipment generates and uses radio
frequency energy and if not installed and
used properly, in strict accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions, may cause
interference to radio and television
reception. The modem has been tested and
found to comply with the limits for a Class
B computing device in accordance with the
specifications in Part 15 of FCC rules,
which are designed to provide reasonable
protection against such interference in a
residential installation. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in
a particular installation.
