To use 3CServer as the FTP Server for Upgrade Manager, do the following:

Permanently disable the other FTP server running on the system.

Open 3CServer and select
File
, and then
Toggle Ftp Server
.
To use another FTP server with Upgrade Manager, consult the that server’s
user guide and use the following default settings:

Set the FTP HomeDirectory to <transcendhome>\Upgrade.
■
Create a user account with read/write permission. Use this account for
FTP transfer.
By default, 3CServer sets the
Allow Anonymous to Overwrite Files
configuration option on. To disable this option or to change any
configuration option, select
File
, and then
Config
.
Additional Patches
After you have installed Transcend, you should determine whether any
additional patches have been released by 3Com. After the initial release
of Transcend WorkGroup Manager 6.2 for Windows, patches will be
available at:
support.3Com.com/infodeli/swlib/network_management.htm
