Authentication
The
Local Database Setup Page
allows the network administrator to
globally enable or disable local-database authentication for the switch.
Monitor users have no access to this page.
To configure Local Database Settings:

Port > Local Database > Setup
. The
Local Database Setup Page
opens:

contains the following fields:

System Authentication Control
— Configures local-database
authentication globally for the switch. The possible field values are:
■
Enabled
— Enables local database authentication on the device.
■
Disabled
— Disables local database authentication on the device.
This is the default.
