Downloading an Application to Flash Memory
To download an application to flash memory:

Select option
1
on the Boot Menu. The following menu displays:
1. Set TFTP protocol parameter
2. Set FTP protocol parameter
3. Set XMODEM protocol parameter

then enter the appropriate information in the fields that display:
Load File name :
sw7700003.app
Switch IP address :
10.10.110.1
Server IP address :
10.10.110.50

at the download prompt so the system downloads the file to flash:
Are you sure to download file to flash? Yes or No(Y/N)

After the download is complete, select option
0
to return to the boot menu.

From the boot menu, select option
2
then select the newly downloaded file.
Selecting the Application File for the Boot
If the Switch 7700 primary image fails because of a CRC error or a file format
error, you can configure the system to find the backup image you select to boot
from.
To select the image file that you want the system to boot from:

from the Boot Menu. The following text displays:
