Removing the Backplate

Remove the screw holding the expansion slot’s backplate,
as shown in Figure 2-3.
Your PC may look different from the one illustrated, particularly if
it is an EISA PC. With an EISA PC, use any empty slot.

Insert the 3C619C adapter into the empty expansion slot,
as shown in Figure 2-4, and secure it with the screw you
removed earlier.

Replace the PC’s cover.
