1. Safety instructions
The response box is intended for educational pur-
poses exclusively. The measurements obtained using
the box may never be used for establishing the state
of health of any individuals.
•
Never use the response box for diagnostic pur-
poses.
•
Never use the response box for the purpose of
control in therapeutic treatments.
•
Never open or try to manipulate the response
box under any circumstances.
2. Description
A microprocessor-controlled response box with three
built-in buttons and button caps coloured
blue
,
green and
red
, with a plug connection for a foot
switch and a combined LED showing all three colours
individually or
white
when all three are mixed to-
gether. White is reserved for response via the foot
switch.
The LEDs are switched on at random and the time to
respond to them (the reaction) by pressing the
matching button or the footswitch is measured.
The reaction time is displayed on the 3B NET
log
TM
unit.
The response box is automatically detected by the 3B
NET
log
TM
unit ("Probe Detect").
