1 ¼” to 2” Hitch Carrier Instructions
Everything you need to set up your Quik Rack is provided. Unfold your
Rack from its shipping position.
Step 1:
Pull on the hitch so it snaps into the first position. Discard the
cardboard support and remove the plastic wrap around the hitch. If you
have a 2” receiver proceed to
Step 2
. If you have a 1 ¼” hitch, remove the
2” adaptor.

Using the black Allen Wrench provided, remove the single silver
Allen bolt in the adaptor. Store in a safe place as you may need it
in the future.
Step 2:
Position the Quik Rack so the trays are vertical and the hitch is
facing upward. Locate the two Blue Levers. (

Step 3:
Rotate the Blue Levers to the horizontal open position. (

Rotate the Trays down and out so they are parallel to the ground.

Step 4:
Rotate the Blue Levers back to their starting position to lock the
Trays in place. (

Step 5:
Insert your Quik Rack into the receiver so the Silver Expander Ball
is in a
Minimum
of 2”.
Step 6:
Pivot the Quik Rack to the vertical position by pulling the spring
loaded Black Pivot Bar out and lifting upward (

). Release the Pivot
Lock Bar and the Quik Rack should snap into place (this is how to adjust
the Rack to all positions).
Step 7:
Position the Quik Rack to desired depth, 4” minimum insertion,
but no less than 2”. Tighten the silver Security Bolt located in the back of
the hitch (

), with one of the provided gold Security Wrenches.
MAKE SURE THE EXPANDER BALL DOES NOT PROTRUDE THROUGH THE
BACKSIDE OF THE RECEIVER.
The deeper the hitch is inserted, the better.
Shake the Quik Rack to assure a snug fit and no wobble.
Periodically tighten the silver Security Bolt to assure tightness.
In the Rack box, a black Velcro Strap was provided. Thread it through
your vehicle’s receiver and around the front portion of your rack.
