Preheat oven

For optimum cooking, preheat the oven. Pre-heating is absolutely essential for grilling and dry frying. Pre-heating is 

also beneficial for faster baking and roasling, providing quicker sealing/browning.

Cooking Time

Cooking times shown in the cook book will vary depending on the volume, weight, temperature and mass of the food 

or the desired finish/crispness. Remember the most important thing is to cook to your satisfaction. Thaw meats to 

room temperature before cooking them. If not, they will take longer to cook thoroughly.

Placing Food at Center

Placing food at the center encourages maximum air flow around and under for fast cooking. Expect to turn once at 

higher temperature, then reduce heat for best cooking of meats (beef, lamb, pork or veal).

Please be careful when using the pre-set (delay) feature on the oven. Placing meats in the cooker and then delay the 

cooking start time by several hours on a hot day can cause growth of bacteria which might lead to illnesses.
Remember to always PRE-HEAT your oven before using it. When cooking meats or other foods, always remember 

that the bigger the portion the longer it takes to cook.

For instance:  1 kg = 1 hour at 250°C

 

2 kg = 2 hours  at 250°C

l

     

Smaller pieces of meat will take you anything from 20 minutes to 35 minutes at 250°C. This again depends on the 

size of meat pieces.

l

     

When baking, most of the baking is done at 190°C. To make pastries (e.g pies) crispy, temperature can be be 

adjusted to 250°C.

l

     

When cooking vegetables, place them in an oven baking bad or tin foil.  Remember to add at least 2 teaspoons of 

water into the baking bag/tin foil. Cook at 250°C.

l

     

If for you want to cook rice, add 1 cup of water to 1 cup of rice in an oven baking bag.

l

     

Soft boiled vegetables take between 20 to 30 minutes to cook.

l

     

Hard boiled vegetables take between 30 to 40 minutes to cook.

l

     

Eggs can be put in without adding water. It takes anything from 8 minutes (soft boiled) to 10 minutes (hard boiled) 

and you can cook as many as you like. If eggs were in a fridge add an extra 2 minutes at 250°C.

l

     

Potatoes with the skin on must be spiked with a fork and placed in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Potatoes without 

skin must also be spiked with the fork and cut in half or quarters, dipped in oil then placeed in the oven for 30 to 35 

minutes. This is equally at 250°C.

   DO nOT over load the oven with too many foods at once. allow air to flow all around your food so that it 

can cook evenly on all sides.

   DO nOT put any plastics (including microwave plastics) or any thin glass such as  plates or dishes into  

the oven.

You can put metal materials/thick glass plates and oven dishes into the oven.

   note: all cooking times and methods included in this manual are suggestions only. Personal preferences 

will require you to try out times/methods for yourself in order to achieve the desired results for your  

cooking/eating style.

Do not moving or shaking appliance during operation.

Do not let the children operate unattended, and keep the appliance out of the reach of children, in case 

of any injury.

Do not insert a pin, wire or other conductive material to the vent bottom of appliance, in case of electric

Do not immersing the appliance housing in water or rinsing under the tap, or keeping in wet surfaces.
