ZyXEL ZyAIR AG-100 & AG-200 client adaptors provide full support for 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g
and can connect to just about any wireless LAN. Intelligent software constantly monitors the wireless
connection and will change bands to avoid interference and maintain high throughput level.
Atheros Super AG Support
Atheros Super A & G are popular methods for achieving faster than 802.11g data rates. Both the ZyAIR
AG client adaptors fully support Atheros AG and can connect at up to 108Mbps in either 802.11a or
802.11g mode when connecting to a compatible wireless access point.
Atheros XR Technology
ZyXEL’s ZyAIR AG adaptors support the new Atheros XR technology. When paired with an Atheros XR
compatible access point, connection distances can be greatly enhanced over typical 802.11a or 802.11g
coverage.
Enhanced Wireless Security
In addition to basic 64/128/152-bit WEP encryption, the ZyAIR AG client adaptors provide enhanced
wireless security mechanisms of 802.1x authentication and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) as well. These
enhanced security measures restrict access only to authorized users and prevent data from being tapped
during wireless transmission.
Easy Installation and Operation
Installation is quick and easy with user friendly setup wizards. The
Plug-and-Play feature allows for fast and effortless connection to a
wireless network.
