Access Point Mode

5.1 Overview

In this mode your WX3310 (

) bridges a wired network (LAN) and wireless LAN (WLAN) in the same

subnet. See the figure below for an example.

5.2 Setting your WX3310 to AP Mode

Connect your computer to one of the LAN port of the WX3310.

Connect a modem/router to the other LAN port of the WX3310

using an Ethernet cable.

If the WX3310 is not connected to a router or DHCP server, the WX3310 cannot assign your computer an
IP address.
