Install the Hardware
Do not install the hardware until you have installed
the driver and utility from the CD.
1. Locate an available ExpressCard slot on your
computer.
2. With the pin connectors facing
the slot and the side with LEDs
facing up, align and slide the
MAX-706 into the left of slot.
The MAX-706’s
PWR LED
(light) turns on after 20
seconds if it is properly inserted.
Never bend, twist or force the MAX-706 into the port.
If the PWR LED on the MAX-706 is not on after
you have installed the utility and the MAX-706,
remove the MAX-706 and reinsert it.
3. The Found New Hardware screen will appear. Keep
clicking Next until you complete the wizard. This will
install the driver for the MAX-706 hardware.
