The Internet connection is slow and intermittent or frequently disconnects.

The quality of the MAX-506’s wireless connection to the base station may be poor.
Poor signal reception may be improved by moving the MAX-506 away from thick
walls and other obstructions, or to a higher floor in your building.

There may be radio interference caused by nearby electrical devices such as
microwave ovens and radio transmitters. Move the MAX-506 away or switch the
other devices off. Weather conditions may also affect signal quality.

There might be a lot of traffic on the network. Check the Status screen ( Section
3.4 on page 22 ) and the Connection screen ( Section 3.6 on page 26 ). If the
MAX-506 is sending or receiving a lot of information, try closing some programs
that use the Internet, especially peer-to-peer applications.

Restart your computer.

If the problem continues, contact your ISP or vendor.
