11.2 DMA Usage

I cannot see the DMA menus on the television screen.

Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See
the Quick Start Guide and
Section 11.1 on page 73 .

Make sure your Internet browser does not block pop-up windows and has JavaScripts
and Java enabled. See
Section 11.1 on page 73 .

Make sure your television is set to display the DMA’s input. If you used an HDMI
connection between the television and the DMA, make sure the television input is set to
HDMI. If you used a S-Video connection between the television and the DMA, make
sure the television input is set to S-Video.

Turn the DMA off and on using the power switch on the rear panel (instead of the Power
button on the remote control).

If the problem continues, contact the vendor.

I cannot see or access the media server folders on the television screen.

Make sure the media server computer is on and has an IP address in the same subnet as
the DMA. (If you know that there are routers between your computer and the DMA, skip
this step.)

Check the media server program’s Published Folder and Security settings. If you have
to change these settings, turn the DMA off and on again afterwards.
5 Check the security settings of any software firewalls on the media server computer.
