3 Filling in coffee
Used ground coffee
Fill the ground coffee into the filter. Close the
filter lid.
Grinding coffee beans with the
ZWILLING Enfinigy coffee grinder
Remove the filter holder with the filter from the
coffee machine and hold it under the outlet of
the coffee grinder. Distribute the ground pow-
der in the filter by shaking it carefully. Insert the
filter holder into the coffee machine until it locks
into place with a click. Close the filter lid.
4 Brewing coffee
Turn the button to the right until the symbol flashes. Press the button.
Turn the button to set the number of cups for which you added ground coffee and water. Press the
button again. The coffee machine beeps once and the
symbol lights up (see the "Settings"
section for instructions on turning the beeper on/off). The coffee machine will moisten the ground
coffee with the right quantity of water and then continue to brew the coffee.
As soon as the water tank is empty, the brewing unit will switch off and the coffee machine will
beep three times. All symbols disappear 5 minutes after completing the brewing process.
Risk of scalding! Escaping water vapour and the coffee in the filter holder and jug are
hot. The surface of the heating element stores residual heat.
The valve under the filter holder will only open if the closed thermos jug has been cen-
tred under the filter holder. Caution: If the jug is not inserted correctly or not at all, the
filter might spill over.
