Warning
Use only the M4x6 screws (58-20002-00) to secure the plastic bracket to the chassis.
Using a longer length screw may protrude too far into the chassis and cause
internal damage to the boards.
5.5 Installing Mounting Brackets on Chassis
The MX250 main chassis is supplied with two mounting brackets that you must fasten onto the
chassis prior to installing it into a 19" equipment rack. The system can be mounted into one of the
four following positions:
•
Mounting the chassis from the front side, as shown in figure 5-3.
•
Mounting the chassis from the rear side, as shown in figure 5-4.
•
Mounting the chassis from the middle of the front side, as shown in figure 5-5.
•
Mounting the chassis from the middle of the front side, as shown in figure 5-6.
Follow these instructions to install the mounting brackets on the MX250 chassis:
1. Select the bracket position from the list of four mounting options. Identify the figure that
depicts the preferred bracket position and refer to that figure during the mounting
procedure.
