Mounting brackets on the rear of the chassis – You can attach the flange to the Rear Bracket
holes; orient the front flange of the bracket so that it is flush with the rear panel of the BPS12,
as shown if figure 5-5.

Mounting brackets on the middle of the chassis, front orientation – You can attach the bracket
to the Middle Bracket Holes with the front flange towards the front. Figure 5-6 displays the
BPS12 with the bracket mounted in this orientation.

Mounting brackets on the middle of the chassis, rear orientation – You can attach the bracket to
the Middle Bracket Holes with the front flange towards the rear.
Danger
Do not work on the BPS12 during periods of high electrical activity in the
atmosphere, such as during lightning and storms.
5.3.4 Placing the BPS12 in the Equipment Rack
1. Hold the main chassis in place on a 19” equipment rack, with the flanges of the mounting
brackets aligned against the holes in the front of the rack.
Warning
The BPS12 weighs 27 kg (60 pounds). You need two people to lift and install the
BPS12. Grasp the chassis underneath the lower edge and lift with both hands. To
prevent injury, keep your back straight and lift with your legs, not your back.
