Bottle drawer
The temperature in the bottle drawer is about 4–5 °C higher than in the rest of the refri-
gerator compartment. Beverages can be chilled at a pleasant drinking temperature in the
bottle drawer. The temperatures are also ideal for refrigerating citrus and tropical fruits
(e.g. pineapples, mangoes) as well as fruit vegetables (e.g. cucumbers, aubergines, to-
matoes, courgettes, sweet peppers).
For longer storage periods and better quality: Store fruit and vegetable in its ori-
ginal packaging or wrapped in the bottle drawer.
Removing the bottle drawer
▸ Pull the bottle drawer out as far as it will
go.
▸ Pull upwards sharply by the handle.
Inserting the bottle drawer
▸ Tip the bottle drawer back slightly and
place the back edge in the guides.
▸ Push the guides and bottle drawer in as
far as they will go.
▸ Push the handle down so that the front
part of the bottle drawer engages.
