Unpacking and installation

Remove all packaging.

Do not use a damaged appliance.

The cooktop must only be used on a horisontal, stable and heat-resistant surface that
can carry the weight of the cooktop, cookware and the food to be cooked.
●
Do not place the appliance near other appliances that may be hot or affected by heat.
●
Do not place on an existing stove or cooktop if there is a risk that these can be turned
on.
●
Always be careful when moving the unit as it is heavy.
●
Protect the bottom of the appliance from steam and moisture.
●
Do not place the appliance against a door or under a window. This is to prevent hot
cookware from falling of the appliance when the door or window is opened.
●
The bottom of the cooktop can get hot. Place the cooktop on a heat-resistant
surface.
●
Ensure that there is free space for ventilation around and below the appliance. The
warranty does not cover damage caused by lack of ventilation space.
Connections, electricity

The appliance should be connected to a 230V socket with earth (ground).
●
If the socket is loose, do not plug the power cord into the socket.
●
Do not connect other electrical appliances to the same electrical outlet as this unit.
The total power must not exceed the capacity of the installation.
●
Do not use multi-plug adapters.
●
Make sure that the power cord or plug does not come into contact with the hot
appliance or hot cookware.
●
Be careful not to damage the power cord or cord. If a damaged cord is to be replaced,
contact our authorized service center or an electrician.
●
Do not pull the power cord. Always unplug by pulling the mains plug itself.
