Radio System Unit (RSU)

Function

RSU

provides the following functions:

�

Communication with the baseband subrack

�

BTS intermediate frequency and radio frequency processing

�

Local and remote operation and maintenance

�

Clock synchronization.

Principle

RSU comprises transceiver board (RTR), power amplifier (PA),
duplexer (DFL), lightning interface board (PIBC) and power unit
(RPDC).

Figure 24

illustrates the RSU’s schematic diagram.
