Chapter 4 Units/Components Description

There are four indicators on FGEI panel. Each gigabit electrical
interface contains two indicators: link activation indicator and link
status indicator.

1. The link activation indicator flashes when data are sent or re-

ceived.

2. The link status indicator is permanently on, when the link works

well.

FGFI

There are two Gigabit Ethernet uplink optical interfaces in
SF-2800-2GE-2SFP mode on FGFI sub card, as shown in

Figure

26

FGFI

There are two indicators on FGFI panel: ACT1 and ACT2. They
correspond to two gigabit optical interfaces respectively. When
the link works well, the indicator is on. When data are sent or
received, the indicator flashes.

FGFE

There are one Gigabit Ethernet uplink optical interfaces and one Gi-
gabit Ethernet uplink electrical interface in SF-2800-2GE-SFPRJ45
mode on FGFE sub card, as shown in

FGFE
