ZXG10 iBSC Hardware Installation Guide

7.5.1 Installation Requirements of GPS Antenna

The installation position of GPS antenna shall have the open view, to make sure that the

GPS antenna can trace the satellites as many as possible. Do not install the GPS antenna

below the microwave antenna, high-voltage cable, and TV transmitting tower, and it can

not be impacted by the radiation of primary lobe for the mobile antenna. There are two

kinds of installation positions for the GPS antenna: tower installation and roof installation.

7.5.2 Installing GPS Antenna on Tower

Steps

Determine the installation position of GPS antenna on tower.

shows the installation position of GPS antenna on tower.
